Hello and Welcome! A SPARK is going through a major overhaul and the official A SPARK WordPress website is now LIVE! How did I ever find the time? I made it! Many late nights building the dream.
WordPress Sites have become so popular and many of A SPARK’s clients are requesting a WordPress website platform. A SPARK’s old website was HTML5 and responsive. The focus was and is, on my client’s projects constantly shelving revising my own site. This went on for a long time. Making minor portfolio revisions and updates. It was long overdue to updated the entire site. So I did.
The choices along the way were easy. I’ve helped many clients merge their html website into a WordPress Wesite. Tools to aid the process, Tips to get up and running fast … production workflow … WordPress Plug-ins … The entire process of setting up a website runs deep. For example, one of my first WordPress Websites I produced, required video, photo carousels and 360 panoramic photography. Much more than just text and still pictures. Although a WordPress website is easy to edit, developing engaging content and layouts is where the challenge begins. It continues with a million ways to edit the WordPress website with options that sometime seem limitless.
Then once the bare bones edits are complete, the core content and media … one word … Plugins. The options for WordPress Plugins is in the millions. Plugins for Back Ups, SEO, Social Media are my top tools to implement. The biggest priority is my SEO. (Search Engine Optimization) When talking WordPress … one of my favorite lines is … “There is a Plugin for that!”
